 Sherwin Kershman, D.D.S.
Oral surgeon Sherwin Kershman has been practicing oral and maxillofacial surgery in Houston, Texas since 1971. Dr. Kershman is a native of St. Louis, Missouri. He was graduated from Washington University in St. Louis in 1964 and entered Washington University Dental School in the fall of that year. In 1968, he received his DDS and began his surgical residency at the University of Missouri at Kansas City where he received his certificate in Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery in 1971.
In 1975, he was board certified by the American Board of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgery and was elected Fellow in the American Association of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons. He is a Founder and Fellow in the American College of Oral and Maxillofacial Surgeons.
 Dr. Kershman has a strong clinical interest in dental implants and implant related procedures. He has been involved in Implant Dentistry since its inception in the 1980’s. He has stayed at the leading edge of implant technology through extensive continuing education.
He lives in Houston and enjoys outdoor activities including cycling, scuba diving, photography and fishing. He has participated in the MS 150 eleven times.
Dr. Kershman and his wife, Louise, are the parents of two daughters and grandparents of two grandsons.
